The flagship Nepali heli tour. You lift off from Kathmandu at first light, refuel at Lukla, then climb the Khumbu valley past Ama Dablam to land briefly at Kala Patthar — the classic viewpoint looking straight at the Everest south face. Because oxygen is thin at 5,545 m the landing is short, typically ten minutes, and the aircraft often lifts two passengers at a time. Breakfast is at Hotel Everest View before the descent.

## Highlights

- Land at Kala Patthar, 5,545 m
- Breakfast at Hotel Everest View
- Ama Dablam, Lhotse and Nuptse from the air
- Back in Kathmandu by lunch

## Good to know

- Weight limits are strict — you will be weighed at check-in
- Kala Patthar landings are split into two shuttles at altitude
- Flights leave at dawn; afternoon cloud usually closes the valley
- Monsoon (Jun–Aug) cancellations are common
