# Terms & Conditions

_Last updated 2026-10-07._

Go Heli Nepal Private Limited ("Go Heli Nepal", "we") runs gohelinepal.com, a booking marketplace for helicopter flights in Nepal. We do not own aircraft, employ flight crew or hold an Air Operator Certificate. Every flight is operated by an independent operator certified by the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN). That operator is the carrier and is solely responsible for the conduct and safety of the flight.

## Who we are

These terms are between you and Go Heli Nepal Private Limited, Kathmandu, Nepal. You can reach us at hello@gohelinepal.com for anything general, book@gohelinepal.com for bookings and support@gohelinepal.com if you are already flying with us.

## How a booking works

You send an enquiry through the site, by phone, by WhatsApp or by email. An enquiry is free and commits you to nothing.

The flight desk passes your enquiry to CAAN-certified operators able to fly it and brings their quotes back to you. Which operators are asked depends on the route, the date and the aircraft available. We do not promise that every operator in Nepal will quote, or that any will.

When you accept a quote, the desk asks that operator to confirm the flight. A booking exists only once the operator has confirmed it and we have sent you a confirmation with a booking reference. Until then either side can withdraw at no cost.

Your contract of carriage — the agreement to fly you — is with the operator, on the operator's conditions of carriage. Our agreement with you is to arrange that booking.

## Our role as a broker

We act as a booking agent between you and the operator. We are not the carrier, we do not fly or maintain aircraft, and we do not employ pilots. The operator's name is on your confirmation and on your invoice.

## Prices and our service fee

Operators set their own prices. Quotes are in US dollars unless they say otherwise, and an operator may change its price until you accept the quote.

Where Go Heli Nepal charges a service fee or adds a margin to the operator's price, the quote shows it as its own line before you accept. The total on the quote you accept is the price you pay.

Prices shown on route and tool pages are typical ranges to help you plan. They are not offers and do not bind anyone. National park fees, restricted-area permits and taxes are included only where the quote says so.

## Payment

Nothing is payable to send an enquiry or to receive quotes, and we will never ask you to pay before an operator has agreed to fly your dates.

Your confirmation states how much is due, to whom, by when and by which method. Online card and wallet payment on this site is not yet available; until it is, the desk sends payment details with your confirmation.

## Operator certification

Before we pass an operator a request we check that its Air Operator Certificate from CAAN is current. An operator whose certificate has lapsed is not sent requests.

We do not audit maintenance, crew training or flight operations. Those are matters for CAAN and the operator.

## The pilot decides

The operator and its pilot in command decide whether to fly, delay, divert, shorten or cancel a flight, how many passengers can be carried on each leg, and whether a landing is safe. Their decision is final.

We will not pressure an operator to fly, and you should be wary of any intermediary who would.

## Weather and events outside anyone's control

Himalayan flying depends on the weather. Flights are often delayed or cancelled at short notice, and a flight may turn back part-way.

Neither we nor the operator are liable for delay, diversion or cancellation caused by weather, air traffic control, airport or government closures, natural disasters, strikes or other events outside reasonable control. What you get back in those cases is set out in our cancellation and refund policy.

## Your fitness to fly

A high landing can take you from 1,338 m in Kathmandu to 5,545 m at Kala Patthar in about an hour, with no time to acclimatise. Tell the desk before you book if anyone in your party is pregnant, has a heart or lung condition, has had recent surgery, or is under two years old, and take medical advice before you fly.

The operator may refuse to carry anyone it considers unfit to fly or to land at altitude. Children occupy a seat and count towards the weight limit at any age.

## Weight declarations

You must declare every passenger's weight, with their bag, honestly. Helicopter performance at altitude depends on total mass, and passengers are weighed at check-in.

If actual weights are higher than declared, the operator may refuse carriage, carry the group in extra shuttles at extra cost, or drop a landing. Any extra cost, and any part of the flight lost, is yours.

## Rescue and the SOS page

The rescue line and the SOS page put you in touch with our desk, which then tries to find an operator able to fly. They are not an emergency service. We cannot guarantee that an aircraft will be available, that it can reach you, or how soon. Darkness, cloud, wind and altitude often prevent or delay a flight.

In an emergency, also call the local services: Nepal Tourist Police 1144, Police 100 and Ambulance 102. In the Everest and Annapurna regions the Himalayan Rescue Association runs seasonal aid posts at Pheriche and Manang.

Rescue flights are billed by the operator that flies them. Most operators ask for your insurer's assistance number or a guarantee of payment before or soon after launch. Whether your policy pays is between you and your insurer, and an operator's liability insurance does not cover your own medical or evacuation costs.

Do not raise an SOS that is not genuine. False reports take an aircraft and a crew away from someone who needs them.

## Accounts and use of the site

Accounts are for our staff, operators, agencies and customers we have set up. Keep your password private; you are responsible for what is done with your account.

Do not misuse the site: no automated scraping, no attempts to get around its security, and no content that is unlawful or that you have no right to send.

## Liability

Our responsibility is for our own service: passing on your enquiry, bringing back quotes and arranging the booking accurately. If we are negligent in that service, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us for it.

Claims arising from the flight itself — injury, loss, delay or damage in the operator's care — lie against the operator and its insurers.

Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under the laws of Nepal.

## Complaints

Write to support@gohelinepal.com with your booking reference and what went wrong. We acknowledge a complaint within two working days and aim to send a full answer within 14 days. Where it concerns the flight, we take it up with the operator and tell you what they say.

## Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Nepal. If a dispute cannot be settled by talking to us first, it is for the courts of Kathmandu, Nepal.

## Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version published on the day you accept a quote applies to that booking, and the date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.
