HeliSky Nepal compares every CAAN-certified helicopter operator in the country so you do not have to email eight of them. We do not own aircraft, employ pilots, or hold a flying licence — the operator you pick does all three.
Our story
Why this exists
Booking a helicopter in Nepal used to mean finding eight operator websites, sending eight emails, and comparing eight replies that came back over three days, if they came back at all. The same Everest tour could cost hundreds of dollars more from one operator than another, and the only way to find out was to do all the work yourself.
So we built the page we wanted as travellers. It shows every licensed operator that flies your route, with their real prices, side by side. You choose one, we pass your request on, and they accept or turn it down within four hours.
We are honest about what we are. This is a booking site, not an airline. We do not own helicopters, employ pilots, or hold a flying licence. The helicopter, the crew and the responsibility for your flight all belong to the operator you pick. Our job is to give you what you need to choose well, and to hold operators to the time they promised to answer in.

To make helicopter travel in Nepal clear and open. One place to see every licensed choice at its real price, with nothing to pay until somebody has agreed to fly you.
Our vision
A market where operators compete on service and reliability rather than on who comes top in a search result, and where a trekker in trouble can find a crew ready to fly in under a minute.
Why choose us
What we actually do differently
Compare instead of guessing
See every operator that flies your route, with their prices side by side. One operator's own website cannot show you that.
Nothing to pay upfront
Operators send you a price and you choose. You pay only after you accept one. If none of them suit you, you pay nothing.
Licensed operators only
We check every operator's flying licence and take them off the site the day it runs out.
Honest about the weather
Flying in the Himalaya depends on the weather. We would rather tell you that now than at the helipad.

The honest version
Three questions worth asking before you book through anyone
We own no helicopters and hold no flying licence, so the only thing we can offer is a straight answer about how this works. Here are the three that matter.
The operator flying you is responsible for the flight, and they are named
The aircraft, the crew, the Air Operator Certificate and the passenger liability cover all belong to the operator whose quote you accept. We do not own aircraft and we do not employ pilots.
- Their name is on your booking and on your invoice, so you always know who is flying you.
- Their insurance covers the helicopter and everyone on board — there is nothing for you to arrange.
- If you want to verify any of it yourself, you have the company name to do it with.

An expired certificate removes an operator the same day
An operator is only listed here while its AOC is valid. Expiry is not a warning or a flag — it takes them out of every public listing and out of every future request automatically.
- Every operator on this site holds a current Air Operator Certificate from the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal.
- Insurance is checked alongside it, and either lapsing has the same effect.
- CAAN is the certificate that makes a flight legal — the trade bodies beside it are not the same thing.

Operators pay a share of a confirmed booking, and you pay us nothing
Comparing here costs a traveller no more than contacting each operator directly. There is no booking fee, no deposit to send a request, and no card on file.
- Money moves only after you accept a specific operator's price for specific dates.
- Any markup is shown as a line on the quote before you accept it.
- If nobody answers within four hours, the request closes and you have paid nothing.
